Ongoing Offerings

As a beginning Shambhala Group, we will be offering a gradually increasing array of meditation opportunities free to the public. No prior meditation experience required to attend. Most programs offer meditation instruction upon request. All are welcome.

Open Public Sitting Hours

Open Meditation Tuesdays 6:30 – 7:30 pm.

The First Sunday of every month we will host an Open House from 3:30 pm to 5:30 pm.

This Monthly Gathering is a perfect introduction to the Shambhala teachings and mindfulness meditation, as well as an opportunity to connect with other practitioners. It consists of group meditation instruction and practice, a talk by one of our senior teachers, opportunity for questions, and a light reception. Individual Meditation instruction is also provided upon request.
This open house is an opportunity to meditate in a supportive group setting, to learn about how to apply the principles of meditation to everyday life, and to meet and mingle with others interested in mindfulness. Bring your friends!
Open House schedule:
 3:30 – 4:00, a brief talk on the view of meditation and group meditation instruction
   4:00 – 5:00, sitting and walking meditation
   5:00 – 5:30, tea, snacks, and conversation.

Meditation in Everyday Life

First Sunday Open House

January 6th—December 2nd
